Who we are
Green Knights Military Motorcycle Club Chapter 3 is based out of McChord Field at Joint Base Lewis–McChord (JBLM), Washington. We are a nonprofit organization composed of active-duty military members, Veterans, Department of Defense personnel, and their families — united by a shared commitment to motorcycle safety, mentorship, and service.
Founded in 2000, we were one of the first 100+ chapters worldwide and continue to build camaraderie through riding, volunteering, and supporting our community.
Mission
To foster safe riding practices, mentor new riders, and serve the community with honor, integrity, and horsepower.
Our history
Established at McChord Field in 2000, Chapter 3 carries forward the legacy of the Green Knights MMC, which began in 1999 at McGuire AFB. Over the years, we’ve grown into a group of riders who believe in showing up — on base, in our neighborhoods, and on the open road.
Our membership
Membership is open to:
- Active-duty military (all branches)
- National Guard and Reserves
- Retired service members
- Department of Defense civilians
- Dependents and family members
Community impact
Our chapter supports causes that matter — from toy drives for military families and wreath-laying ceremonies to awareness rides and local fundraisers. We proudly partner with organizations like Santa’s Castle, raise donations for programs such as the MS Society, honorably escort fallen service members, and serve local Veteran homes.
Brotherhood doesn't end at the gate.
